Meet Garfunkel! Garfunkel is a 4-year-old (born 13th January 2020) crossbreed, possibly a Boxer/Staffie mix, with a heart as big as his story. He was sadly found tied to the gates of the kennel alongside his presumed brother, who has since found a loving home. Now, it’s Garfunkel’s turn to find a family to call his own. Meet Golfo! Golfo is a true survivor with a heart full of love. When he arrived at the pound, he was in a terrible state, emaciated and a victim of severe abuse (he was a police case). Thanks to the incredible care of the pound staff, Golfo has made an amazing recovery. Now, he’s a happy, tail-wagging dog with a constant smile on his face! This medium-sized crossbreed is estimated to be 3 years old (01.10.21) and has a wonderfully friendly and sociable nature. Hello everyone my name is Starsky. I’m a handsome 3 year old boy, everybody says so and I’m well loved here because I am just so well behaved and gentle. As you can see I am a cross between a German Shepherd and a Malinois, which is a Belgium shepherd dog. This means that I am very intelligent so if you want somebody to do training with, learn agility or anything that will keep us both entertained and exercised then look no further. Although I’m loved here what I would really like is my own family and home, one who has some previous experience with Shepherd breeds would be ideal. Ziro is such a sweet and loving boy with a story that pulls at the heartstrings! He found himself at the pound. He wasn’t on our list for collection but we saw him in his kennel and he captured our hearts and we had to take him. His tail was wagging so fast and he was trembling at the kennel bars begging for a fuss. He is such a sweet boy. Despite his challenging start, he’s shown nothing but affection and a desire to connect with people. IN THE UK & AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW! Say a huge hello to the incredibly handsome Red! Red is a stunning 4-year-old Podenco who has overcome unimaginable hardship. He was cruelly abandoned on wasteland and left to fend for himself. For 5 long weeks, rescuers worked tirelessly to save him. Terrified and malnourished, Red hid in the same area, his body condition worsening daily. Thanks to the dedication of his rescuers, “Operation Red” succeeded, and he was finally brought to safety. After completing his rehabilitation in our care, Red made an amazing transformation. While Red gets along well with dogs (preferring females), his true joy comes from people. He bounds to greet you every morning, full of love and trust. He’s a playful, happy goofball who loves squeaky toys and can keep himself entertained for hours. Then a kind man started bringing me food every day, and one day I found the courage to follow him home. I met his two dogs, who became my friends, and for the first time, I felt safe and loved. But life changed again. The kind man had to move away and couldn’t take me with him. I ended up in a place with other dogs and caring people who have helped me rebuild my trust. I’ve come a long way since then and am now ready to find my forever family. Say hello to Tsunami! This lovable, super-friendly boy found himself at the pound, where he quickly became a staff favorite. They wanted to ensure he was safe and asked us to help find him a loving forever home—and we’re so glad they did! At just 2 years old (estimated birth date: 10.10.22), Tsunami is a medium-sized bundle of joy. He’s bouncy yet very submissive, fantastic with other dogs, and absolutely adores cuddles and tummy rubs. Tsunami has been neutered and is ready to start his new life. This is Rudy. He came into rescue from the kill shelter with his brother Ulises. They have both had very little human contact and are learning to trust and initially would pee themselves on meeting new people! Now they are getting used to being stroked, they welcome and invite cuddles. Rudy is the slightly more timid of the two, but he will catch his brother up. They are only young (born May 2024) so they will easily make good progress and leave their pasts behind. We feel they would benefit from being in a home asap rather than kennels. They will be lead trained before they leave us. They are gentle souls without a mean bone so would make great family pets and could live with respectful children of 5+. Meet Stik, a small Alsatian cross rescued from a life of fear and pain, his date of birth is estimated by the vet at 05.04.22. Found trembling with his ears and tail cruelly cut for hunting, Stik arrived at our shelter a shadow of himself. But with love and care, he’s transformed into a joyful bundle of energy, winning hearts with his playful spirit. He pinches all the toys and gathers them in his bed like treasure! Now, Stik dreams of a forever home to share his boundless love and happiness. Stik could live with or without another dog. He walks well on a harness and loves a cuddle. Weighing around 34 kg, approx. 2 years old, he has a regal presence and a heart full of love. This resilient boy was found wandering from village to village, surviving on his own until a kind family took him in, fed him, and reached out to a rescue for help. Despite his past, Alto has remained incredibly trusting and affectionate. He walks beautifully on the lead, is wonderfully sociable with other dogs, and absolutely adores people.
